Action Breaks Silence, an educational charity is looking for organised, hard-working, adaptable and confident people with a passion for ending Violence Against Women and Girls to join our team.  

 

To achieve this, a multi-pronged approach is adopted and actioned through the delivery of the Action Breaks Silence Community Intervention in schools’ settings.

 

A “whole schools approach”, (developed by Ava) is used to engage, educate and empower all members of a schools community, including school governors, senior management, staff, students, parents and care-givers to end violence against women and girls in schools and in surrounding communities.

To deliver workshops at different schools and in communities.

Commute to workshop locations in and around the Hounslow Borough and Greater London.

 

This is role is considered part-time and successful applicants will be self employed contractors of the charity, work patterns are mainly mornings with trainers required onsite in Schools from 08:00am - 12:00pm, with occasional evening and weekend workshops delivered in the community.  Travel expenses are reimbursed up to the value of £10.00 weekly
