In the final week, they took part in employability week to prepare for job interviews with employers, including Hounslow Highways, Maydencroft and recruitment agency Supreme Recruitment.

Since September, unemployed residents who enrolled in the bootcamp attended a full-time training course and gained hands-on experience with employers in the green sector. They developed practical skills and real-world experience to help them progress into good jobs, including roles in landscaping, trees and ground maintenance within the sector.
Are you currently unemployed and facing barriers to work? We’re offering free employment support sessions in the borough to help your find jobs, training and volunteering opportunities, improve your CVs and more. The sessions are for residents aged 18 and over who are unemployed and have the right to work. These include those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and those who have been in care.
