You will be helping to make people’s homes more energy-efficient, reducing their carbon footprint and cutting their costs.
What is a Domestic Energy Assessor ?
A Domestic Energy Assessor works out home energy efficient our homes are. Every house or flat needs an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) when it is sold or rented. This is to make sure that It complies with government regulations. Energy assessments are also necessary for homes that are undergoing retro-fit work. This means having insulation, solar panels, heat pumps and energy-saving light bulbs installed.
Title of the Qualification: Domestic Energy Assessor Training Level 3
Awarding Body: ABBE (Awarding Body of the Built Enviornment)
1. Applicants must be a resident of Hounslow Aged 18+
2. In work or recently made unemployed (not longer than 18 months)
3. In receipt of a means tested benefit such as Housing Benefit, Universal Credit or Working Tax Credit
4. The applicant must also want to upskill or reskill.
