    Action Breaks Silence, an educational charity is looking for organised, hard-working, adaptable and confident people with a passion for ending Violence Against Women and Girls to join our team.  

     

    To achieve this, a multi-pronged approach is adopted and actioned through the delivery of the Action Breaks Silence Community Intervention in schools’ settings.

     

    A “whole schools approach”, (developed by Ava) is used to engage, educate and empower all members of a schools community, including school governors, senior management, staff, students, parents and care-givers to end violence against women and girls in schools and in surrounding communities.

    The TCV Green Gym is not a literal gym, but the focus is to improve health & well-being through physical activity which caters to conservation of green spaces.  So, you can be confident you’re joining a safe and welcoming project.  Weekly Green Gym sessions are:

    Thames Reach is a homelessness charity based in London. We specialise in helping people with complex and multiple needs, including those associated with poor mental health and substance misuse. Last year, we helped more than 10,000 people.

     

    The purpose of a Volunteer Support Worker is to assist Hounslow Reach in achieving the highest standards and effectiveness in service delivery to service users.

    The volunteer role will provide additional support and welfare services for people we support in the Borough of Hounslow. Volunteers can assist people we work with and help with our aim of supporting people in managing and sustaining their tenancies.
