Maddy joined Work Hounslow in early 2019 having spent the previous 10 years in various roles within education and training. With a background in teaching and operational management, Maddy leads the Work Hounslow team in their day to day roles ensuring that the economic prosperity of the borough and its residents are kept at the heart of the team’s work. Maddy is also 15 months into an MBA with the University of West London.
Elizabeth joined the Work Hounslow team in Feb 2019. With 19 years’ experience in Housing, Elizabeth brings a wealth of public sector stakeholder experience to the role as well as a strong background in IAG. Elizabeth is our Skills Escalator advisor; skills escalator is, a key project supporting our both unemployed and in-work, low-paid residents into upskilling and reskilling opportunities and Elizabeth is passionate about her client’s progression and capturing their fantastic successes.
Michael is our teams resident apprentice; joining us in Summer 2019, he embarked on a Business Administration (Level 3) apprenticeship. Completing in December 2020, Michael will be staying with the team having secured a fixed term contract in a Business Support Officer role. With a background in customer service and administration, Michael has keenly worked with local residents and supported the team to alleviate the clerical pressures of the job. Michael has grown in ability and confidence and proven himself an asset to the Work Hounslow team.
Leonie's background is in contract management at the Skills Funding Agency and West Thames College. Whilst working on the ‘Train to Gain’ initiative Leonie became involved in delivering information, advice and guidance and decided that was the future for her. Leonie now holds a Level 4 qualification in IAG and is a qualified Mental Health First Aider as well as being one of the safeguarding leads for Hounslow Adult and Community Education.
Tej joined Work Hounslow in latter half of 2020 coming from a corporate background as Education and Skills Officer, having previously held roles in Human Resources, Finance and Development. Engaging her vast local knowledge, working as an Employment Advisor, Tej is supporting Hounslow residents to navigate the various employment and training opportunities available to them. Tej also represents the borough as our NHS jobs lead.
Deborah joined Work Hounslow following a number of years working with communities and young people in a variety of settings, more recently specialising in apprenticeships. Deborah’s role includes not only supporting our local businesses to understand initiatives (drawing on her background in apprenticeship delivery) and recruitment of local talent but has the development of a highly successful business mentoring & workshop project to support our boroughs micro businesses. Deborah is passionate about engaging with local employers to inform our work and ensure Work Hounslow are always one step ahead of the game.
Alexander joined Work Hounslow with over 20 years of experience working within both private & public sector organisations. His background includes; regeneration, community projects, further education, employability and recruitment. Alexander is a skilled project manager with an eye for driving performance through understanding the local landscape and working closely with the team to find solutions. His role is to ensure the smooth running of projects and the provision of high quality, driven performance across our service offer.
Tim joined Work Hounslow in 2015 having spent the previous 10 years in within Welfare to Work. With a background in IAG, Tim is Work Hounslow’s Section 106 Officer; this involves working closely with local developers to ensure their developments are providing job and training opportunities. Together with various local stakeholders, Tim has an established employment and skills plan in place with each of our local developers, designed specifically to meet the needs of Hounslow residents and works closely with the team to ensure its continued success.
Lauren is one of our Employment Advisors in the Work Hounslow team, working with local residents, providing high quality information and advice and guidance to support their job and training aspirations. Lauren joined Work Hounslow in October 2020 having spent the previous 10 years in Higher Education, whilst also working across Hospitality, Public Service, HR and Recruitment sectors.
With a keen focus on the apprenticeship agenda, and in key support of our corporate pledge, Lauren works to engage future apprentices as well as promoting the benefits of apprenticeship training.
