    The Sheraton Skyline Hotel, Heathrow, is currently recruiting a Restaurant and Bar Manager to manage the Restaurants/Bars.   The successful candidate will supervises daily restaurant operations and assists with menu planning, be responsible for maintaining sanitation standards and assists servers and hosts on the floor during peak meal periods.Monitors guest and employee satisfaction, maintaining standards.

     

    We are seeking a candidate who strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction while maximize the financial performance meeting or exceeding financial goals.  The postholder will be highly skilled and able to identify staff training requirements who is also responsible for the following food and beverage operations:

    - Bytes Restaurant, Sports Bar, Sky Bar, WPS Coffee Shop, Room Service and Executive Lounge.    

     

    Applicants are required to hold the following qualifications or experience:

     

    High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.

    OR

    2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.

  • Sustainability Project Manager Apprenticeship

    This is an exciting opportunity to join our Climate team as a Sustainability Projects Apprentice. You will work towards the Level 4 Project Management Apprenticeship standard where you will develop the skills to manage projects and gain practical experience supporting delivery of a varied portfolio of climate projects.

     

    The team leads the council's mission to achieve net zero by 2030 and implements the council's Climate Emergency Action Plan. Our projects aim to provide residents with homes that are warmer and more cost-effective to maintain, enhance the borough's green economy, encourage sustainable travel and secure the necessary investment to attain net zero.

     

    The team is headed by the Head of Net Zero and Green Economy, comprising several seasoned project managers with specializations, including a community engagement expert. Your primary role will be to provide administrative and technical support under the guidance of the Project Managers. Your Line Manager and Skills Development Coach will support you in developing the necessary skills for this position. Periodically, you will also meet with other apprentices to further your formal apprenticeship in project management.

  • Land Management and Arboriculture Bootcamp

    The Green Skills Bootcamp is a free 4-week course, funded through the Mayor of London Skills Bootcamp programme and in partnership with the Greater London Authority, Lampton GreenSpace 360, Hounslow Highways, and Maydencroft. The course will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to gain employment in a ground maintenance related role.  

     

    The structure of the course is as follows:

    -          Two weeks of classroom lessons

    -          One week of hands-on work experience

    -          One week of employability training  

    Following successful completion of the course, learners will be offered a guaranteed interview with at least one of our partner employers.
