    Business in the Community are recruiting for a Project Manager.  The Project Manager role will have the ability to enthuse and inspire businesses to take action to meet the needs of communities across Hounslow.  The Project Manager will be a highly motivated, approachable self-starter who is able to enthuse a range of stakeholders with the ability to spot opportunities and act on them.  Working in communities in Hounslow to deliver and manage a range of projects in line with the objectives established by the Hounslow Place Board, you will report to the Place Board on activities and interventions and demonstrate the impact the Programme is making in communities.

    BITC help places across the UK own their future, build on their strengths, and tackle their most pressing challenges.   BITC do this by bringing leaders from business, the voluntary sector and the local council together in a place and work with them to build and deliver a vision for their future that serves everyone, with input from everyone.  BITC’s Place Programme is sponsored by Baroness Jo Valentine and Lord Steve Bassam.  BITC provide sustained resource, advice and support to motivate and empower local stakeholders so that each place can identify its own challenges and innovate its own solutions.  Their ambition is to enable millions more people in the UK to live and work in a place which they are proud to call home.  The programme is currently active across the UK in Blackpool, Bradford, Coventry, Newport, Norwich, Sheffield and Rochdale.   BITC are now establishing the programme in Hounslow, with backing from major businesses including Berkeley Group, Compass Group, Heathrow Airport, JC Decaux, PwC and Segro, Sky, alongside Hounslow Council.   BITC are in discussion with a number of other businesses interesting in joining the collaboration.
